Pointing the World to Jesus Christ !
Diana, a proud Army brat, who has traveled all around the United States and outside the US, now calls Easley, SC home. She was saved at the tender age of eight, after hearing an Easter sermon by her pastor at Gum Branch Baptist Church in Hinesville, GA, while her father was stationed at Ft. Stewart. Two of the highlights of childhood were her involvement in AWANA, where she grew in her walk with the Lord; and attending annual summer camp. She went all six years as a student, then continued to go for three years as a camp counselor. After graduating from Pensacola Christian High School, she attended Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary, where she met her husband, Donn. They have two children, a daughter-in-love and three grandsons. God led Diana and her family to BRVBC 08/15/2004, where she has had the privilege of worshipping and serving ever since. Diana loves her family, music and serving the Lord, so it stands to reason that her love for music, instilled in her by her mother Anna McDonald, would lead her to answer the call to serve as Choir Director. John 10:27-30 has always been a favorite passage of scripture and has been the reassurance of that decision she made so many years ago. Two of her favorite sayings are, “He died for me, so I’ll for Him,” and “It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.” (Harry S. Truman) Diana’s goals in life are to be the hands of Jesus wherever she goes, model Christ’s love to all she meets, complete every task with integrity and to the best of her ability, and one day hear, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”
